| PRESS RELEASE FROM WISSOTA | March 24, 2009 |
| WISSOTA reaches agreement with Jack's Campers to provide WISSOTA 100 camper rental program for racers, crews, fans DASSEL, MN - For the first time in event history, racers and fans can camp on-site at the WISSOTA 100...without even bringing along a camper or tent! WISSOTA has reached an agreement with Jack’s Campers, which has South Dakota locations in Mitchell, Sioux Falls and Piedmont, to rent out campers to racers, crews and fans who want to stay on the grounds and enjoy the nearly week-long festivities. Jack’s Campers will have up to 300 units - that’s right, 300! - available for rental at the 2009 WISSOTA 100, and if you rent one, it will be all set up and ready to go when you arrive at the SD State Fairgrounds for the WISSOTA 100. Jack’s Campers, which has been in business since 1963, prides itself on providing clean, modern campers on its rental program. “We are very fussy about what we rent; things will be clean and in great repair,” said Kari Veldheer of Jack’s Campers. “We spend anywhere from four hours to several days on each unit, getting them ready to go.” Virtually all of the units available for rent are 2003 models or newer - and most 2005 or newer. “This is no second-class operation,” said Dakota State Fair Speedway promoter Orville Chenoweth. “Jack’s rents campers for the biggest events across several states, and they treat their customers right.” When you go with the rental program, Jack’s Campers even makes your campsite reservation with the South Dakota State Fair staff, and your campsite is included in the rental price. Groups of all sizes should contact Jack’s Campers to get more information on the camper rental program - when you call let them know how many people will be in your group, and they’ll pick a camper with a floor plan that best suits your needs. “We match the rental trailers to the renter’s needs based on sleeping arrangement,” Veldheer said. “For instance, if they need to sleep four people, that may be two couples, four individuals or one couple and two individuals. Campers in each instance would get a different floor plan to best accommodate them.” “Then all you have to do is drive up to your camper, turn the key and have a great time at the races and the party atmosphere throughout the event,” said WISSOTA director Scott Hughes. “You don’t even have to bring blankets, pillows, plates, forks or knives - you can even set it up to have Jack’s Campers have all of that right inside your camper,” he added. Veldheer added, “We offer an accessory package that includes at least all of the following: all bedding, sheets, blankets, pillows, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, liquid hand soap, coffee pot, filters, coffee, toaster, pans, dishes, utensils, waste basket and liners, broom, dust pan, dish towels, dishcloths, dish soap, paper products, plates, and cups.” Jack’s Campers will also have a huge display of campers and RVs on display throughout the week of the WISSOTA 100 event. Feel free to take in their “RV Show” and even trade-in your old camper if you find something you like. Jack’s Campers will also have a parts and repair unit on-site throughout the WISSOTA 100, so if you bring your own camper or RV and need help or a part of some kind, you’ll be able to get it right on the grounds. You can get more information or make your camper reservation by calling Jack’s Campers at 1-888-356-1812. If you want to know more about them, their staff, their history and their product lines, log on to www.jackscampers.com. Remember, if you reserve a camper, Jack’s will also take care of your campsite reservation. If you are bringing your own tent or camper for the WISSOTA 100 and need to reserve a site, call Shelly from the SD Fair office camping staff at (605) 353-7340. “The camping facilities are probably the best available at any track in our six-state, two-province region,” said WISSOTA board member Gus Omundson. “We’ll have lots of room for everyone, shower facilities, and everyone is within easy walking distance of the race track. The ground is all level and grassy and we’ll be able to accommodate every kind of tent or camper imaginable.” The South Dakota State Fairgrounds, which includes Dakota State Fair Speedway, contains 1,200 campsites, nearly all with electrical service and some with full hookups.
