He may only be 25 years old, but Alex is a seasoned veteran when it comes to racing. Starting with an Arctic Cat “Kitty Cat” Snow machine at the age of 9, he quickly progressed up to the 120cc race class in the winter and 6hp go-carts in the summer. At the age of 13 he was introduced to car racing at North Star Speedway as the Crew Chief of a four car mini stock stable. He specialized in chassis adjustments and complete engine rebuilds – learning from the top auto racing technicians in the state. Finally at only 15 years old he was given the opportunity to drive, finishing second in class and Rookie of the Year in the Mini Stock Class. He developed the taste for winning, the following winter he spent every moment he could re-building the car, making sure every nut and bolt was in place. The hard work paid off, Alex came back to win the championship in just his 2nd season of driving – clinching nearly every race. He now has 5 Mini Stock Championships on both Asphalt and Dirt, and has expanded into Legend Cars, Dirt Track Late Models, and is now driving the #11 Baby Grand for Creech Motorsports.
