Bio

I started racing in the year 2000 in the Thunder Stock Division at Gillette Thunder Speedway in a 1976 Buick Regal. Fulfilling my lifelong dream to drive a race car, I had a blast that first year. With limited funds and no clue what i was doing, I finished 5th in the points that year.

2001 and 2002 were about the same in the Thunder Stock Division, picking up my first ever heat race win in '02.

2003 was a different story, purchasing a 1976 Monte Carlo, from Jerry Van Damme, I was able to pick up my first feature win and 6 total for the season, I finished 2nd in points just one shy of the championship to Chass Martin.

2004 I moved up to the WISSOTA Midwest Mod division, in a '00 J-car that i purchased from Eric Mass. Moving up to a faster car was a challenge but an absolute blast. Had a good rookie year picking up 1 feature win and a 4th place finish in points. During the East/West Clash on September 11th, I had a horrific accident that almost claimed my life. Fire engulfed the car after a hard crash and I was pulled from the wreckage in the nick of time by Ed Kirchoff. Car was a total loss and I suffered only minor burns to my hands. I was very fortunate.

2005 was a rough year in a new car. I bought an '01 Cobra from Danny Allen and i struggled with the car and setup and limped home to a 6th place finish in the points.

2006 was a far better year picking up 4 feature wins and finishing runner up to Danny Allen, in his stellar year finishing 4th in national points.

2007 and 2008 were my best years of racing to date. 10 feature wins in '07 and 12 in '08, I won GTS Track Championships, WISSOTA Wyoming State Championships and the WISSOTA Western Region Championships.

2009 saw rule changes to the Mid Mod division and I struggled mightily. Picking up 1 feature win early in the year, the season was cut short due to a brutal crash at Black Hills Speedway forcing me to call it a year.

2010 I moved up to the Dirtcar Limited Late Model Division at the track with an '03 Rocket Chassis. It was quite a learning curve, moving into a full body, wide tire car but it was a decent season. 2 feature wins and finishing 2nd in points behind Erin Wood.

2011 and 2012 were a couple more stellar season. 5 feature wins in each season and picking up the GTS Track Championships in both winning by over 100 points each year.

2013 I moved back into a WISSOTA Midwest Mod with an '03 J-Car/ TRC and struggle once again. 1 feature win and a 4th place finish in points, it was a lackluster season.

2014 was a tough season as well, with my new job I wasnt able to compete every week and struggled to find speed. 1 feature win on the year a limited schedule had an impact on points.

2015 was a bittersweet year. Picking up 3 feature wins and numerous top 3 finishes, I finished 2nd in GTS track points. To end the year, I travelled to Huron, SD for the WISSOTA 100, as i was entered into the Race of Champions. During the feature, a car spun in front of me and I had no where to go. Car was destroyed and driver suffered a slight concussion.

2016 I took the year off to focus on my growing little family and concentrate on building a new house. I did compete in the Harold Allen Memorial in a friends car and fittingly finished 12th in his honor.

2017 will be my first year in an IMCA modified. Ill be competing in a 2012 Side Biter Chassis. Looking forward to the challenge and getting back on track!

Career Total: 51 Feature wins, 71 Heat Race wins, 3 B Main wins, 1 LCQ win, 3 Dash wins and 1 Grudge Match win

Tracks Ive competed at: Gillette Thunder Speedway (old), Gillette Thunder Speedway, Casper Speedway, Sheridan Speedway, Black Hills Speedway, Valentine Speedway, Brown County Speedway, Dakota State Fair Speedway and Gallatin Speedway.
