Hey guys, I'm returning back to racing this year. Last time I raced full time was in 2012. I Started racing in go-karts when I was 12 till I was 16. Then we tried a tar race car for a year, but decided dirt racing was what we enjoyed doing and watching more! So starting in 2008 we got into a midwest modified. Started with a 1997 Harris chassis that we had for a year. Then we upgraded the next year to a 2004 J-car that I raced for 2 years then got an 2008 SSR car that we had for the last to years that I raced. That last year I raced was also the first year that my little brother started racing. He jumped into the J-car and I had the SSR car. Earlier that year I bought a fixer upper house, which needed a lot of work, so I decided to take a couple years off to get most of those projects done. Since then my little brother (Tyler) has taken over in the driver seat for vanderby racing the last four years. Two years ago we decided to move up in classes into a super stock that I got to race 4 times last year at the end of the year because Tyler was going back to school. So this year he is graduating and moving to the cities for his job. So I'll be back behind the wheel again for vanderby racing full time this year!
