Spoiler changes for Modifieds and Street Stocks

HIBBING, MN (June 4) - In a continuing effort to achieve parity with the different engine options, the WISSOTA Tech Committee is making the following adjustments in the Modified and Street Stock classes:

Effective on Monday June 5, 2017: WISSOTA Modifieds equipped with the spec engine will be allowed to add 1” to the height of their rear spoiler. The spoiler support height will remain at the current rule height.

Effective on Monday June 5, 2017: WISSOTA Street Stocks equipped with the open compression engine or the 9.5 to 1 engine will be allowed to have up to a 3” rear spoiler. Spoiler supports will not be allowed. Cars utilizing a WISSOTA concept engine are not permitted to use a spoiler.

Please note that the WISSOTA Tech Committee can and will make adjustments as needed to achieve the goal of parity within the various engine packages and divisions.
