Drivers win big at WISSOTA 100 pit meetings

HURON, SD - Racers who attend the Speedway Motors WISSOTA 100 will again have the opportunity to win great prizes during pit meetings each day during the event. “If you’re like most racers, you probably think pit meetings are one of the most boring things ever. But when you come to pit meetings at the WISSOTA 100, you might win free tires, free tools, body parts, cylinder heads, shirts, race wheels, or lots of other stuff,” said WISSOTA executive director Terry Voeltz.

“Our sponsors provide our racers with valuable prizes they can really use,” said Voeltz. “Who can’t use a new driveshaft? Who can’t use a new pit mat? Who can’t use a new tire, or Raceceiver, or helmet bag?”

Every day during the afternoon pit meetings during the WISSOTA 100, drawings will be held and every racer in attendance will have an equal chance to win.

So let’s review why racers should come to the WISSOTA 100 this year. The largest purse of any event in the region. WISSOTA’s top six classes all compete. You get to race in front of the largest crowd of any event all year. You get three attempts to quality for the championship features. There are three national point shows available during the event. The features start 33 cars - more than any other features at any other track all season long. You could win Orv’s $10,000 Pot Of Gold. The AFCO Races Of Champions will be held, which gives you even more money-making opportunity. Free lunch Thursday by Jack Link’s.

The Speedway Motors is the marquee event in all of WISSOTA. It’s the biggest event of the year, held at a fantastic racing facility at the perfect time of year. You’ll be among thousands of friends who also love dirt track racing.

Put the WISSOTA 100 on your calendar, and don’t miss it. Racing will be from Wednesday, September 13 through Saturday, September 16 at Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, SD.
