LONG WINTER DELAYS GRANITE CITY SPEEDWAY START JUST A BIT

As Winter slowly eats into Spring, officials at the Granite City Speedway have pushed the start of the 2018 racing season back a bit with a couple of slight adjustments. This will ensure that the track is fully prepared and will provide an enjoyable experience for race fans.

Practice Day is now slated for Sunday May 13th, while Opening Night will now be pushed until Sunday May 20th.

The 2018 season will feature a mix of Friday night racing along with a few Sunday night programs scattered throughout the season. WISSOTA classes will be stars of the show every week including: Modifieds, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mod Fours and Hornets. The Outlaw Mini Mods will also be racing at select events throughout the year. Friday races will begin at 7:30pm, while the Sunday events will begin at 5:00pm. The first Friday event will be on May 25th.

Race Fans can purchase tickets to all May events for just $5 each, available starting May 1st at the St. Cloud NAPA store.

Additional promotional events are in the works and will be announced in the coming weeks. For additional information on the events at Granite City Speedway, visit www.gcspeedway.com .
