Wissota Late Model Challenge Series

Series Opener At "The Big O" Just Two Weeks Away!

On May 5th the Wollak Construction WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series Presented by QA1 will take the track for the first time of the season at Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, MN. The event which is sponsored by Pine Technical and Community College will pay $3,000 to win the 40 lap A-Main. Hot Laps will be at 6:15 pm with racing at 6:30. Pit and grandstand gates open at 4 pm.

The event will host a mix of names including last years Champion John Kaanta, Jake Redetzke, Marshall Fegers, Jeff Wildung, Rick Hanestad, Steve Laursen, Lance Matthees, Blake Swenson, Buddy Hanestad, Jeffrey Massingill, Jeff Provinzino, and Jesse Glenz to name a few.

The May 5th start will be the earliest start in series history. The earliest start to date is May 8th back in 1999. Mother Nature has certainly thrown racing in the region a big curve ball, however we expect things to be back on track by then. For more event information go to www.ogilvieraceway.com

Some changes to this years series include the addition of Wollak Construction as the Series Title Sponsor, QA1 as the Series Presenting Sponsor, and Richmond Gear as a Series Associate Sponsor. Along with those we have several returning Sponsors that include Dirt Track Supply, Powers & Associates Optometrists, OutPace Racing Products, MyRacePass, and Joe Provo Racewear.
