Getting Wild in Western WISSOTA

Sheridan, WY (July 2, 2018) – The Wild West Late Model Tour and Wild West Midwest Modified Tour are picking up momentum as they head into night number 4 of the tours at Sheridan Speedway. The 8 race schedule features WISSOTA Late Models and Midwest Modifieds, racing for the tour championship, and bragging rights, at 5 different WISSOTA speedways in 9 days. Other tracks on the tour include Big Sky Speedway, Casper Speedway, Gillette Thunder Speedway, and Black Hills Speedway.

Rapid City, South Dakota driver, Eric Mass, picked up the win on night 1 in the WISSOTA Late Models at the newly remodeled Big Sky Speedway in Billings, MT. The 23 car field was stacked full of talented drivers with David Smith, Jim Harris, Casey Skyberg, and Kelly Hample rounding out the top 5. The hard charger on night 1 went to Kinzer McCord, as he made his way from his 20th for a solid 9th place finish.

The Midwest Modifieds had a stellar field of 35 cars with names like Scott Bintz, Dan Wheeler, Kyle Harkin, Darin Hauff, and Ty Miller all picking up heat race wins and advancing to the feature. Scott Bintz would not be denied as he started up front and stayed up front to pick up the win on night 1 in the Midwest Modifieds. Rod Lorenz picked up 9 positions in the feature race to secure an 11th place finish after winning his B feature to advance into the big dance.

Night 2 in Billings had no shortage of high value entertainment as Brian Diede picked up the win in the Late Models, and Scott Bintz showcased his talent again for win number 2 on the series before they all packed up and headed south towards Sheridan for night number 3.

Sheridan Speedway proved to be another show won by Scott Bintz in the Midwest Modifieds, but Eric Mass wanted that second win as he stole that from Brian Diede. Will history repeat itself as we move into night number 4 with Scott Bintz picking up win number 4? Will Eric Mass and Brian Diede continue to share the spotlight after tonight?

Buckle your seatbelts, and get ready Sheridan because it is about to get crazy on night 4 of the Wild West Tour. Remember to stay tuned to your MyRacePass app and live timing for current results.
