Opening Weekend Information

St Augusta, MN (May 14, 2020) - WISSOTA race tracks in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming are going racing this weekend. If you are a driver that is lucky enough to hit the track here are a few things to remember.

• All points accumulated are for track and state points only at this time.
• All drivers in WISSOTA divisions must have a current 2020 WISSOTA license, either full or temp. A full license is the only way a driver can accumulate WISSOTA recognized track and state points. Temp licenses are good for only one night. They must be purchased at the track level.
• All drivers must follow all WISSOTA rule, policies and procedures found in the 2020 WISSOTA Rule Book. Violations are subject to the penalties found in the rule book.
• All drivers are required to have the sponsor stickers on their cars. If you do not have them or have not received them yet from the office, please ask your local track or tech person.
• Opening night lineups are as follows: Heats you will draw for starting position. Features are lined up using a redraw. Tracks can either let the computer redraw or they may ask drivers to draw a pill. If there is 1 heat then 5 cars redraw, 2 heats then top 4 in each redraw, 3 heats then top 3 in each redraw, 4 heats then top 2 in each redraw, 5 heats then top 1 in each redraw.
