Highly Anticipated July Challenge Series Tripleheader Weekend On Tap

The Structural Buildings WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series powered by Momentum Truck Group, Freightliner, Western Star fires back to life on July 19th, 20th and 21st after a five-week break with one of the most anticipated triple header weekends of the season.
Friday night, July 19th, the series headlines the annual Twin Ports Twin 25’s at the Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wisconsin, where twin 25-lap $2,500 to win Late Model features will be held. USRA Late Models and WISSOTA Super Stocks will also be in action. Race time is 7pm. Live music by the band The Reckoning will take place immediately following the event for fans to enjoy. Pat Doar and Kevin Burdick were the 2023 Twin 25 feature winners a year ago.
Saturday, July 20th, the series will make a stop at the legendary Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin for the track’s $5,000 Month of Money event, featuring a $5k payday for the night’s feature winner. Modifieds, Midwest Modifieds, USRA Late Models and WISSOTA Super Stocks will also be in action. Race time is 6pm. Mike Goodremote won the first ever Challenge Series race held back in 1999 and Jesse Glenz is the only other series winner at Cedar Lake, when the series last visited in 2018.
Sunday, July 21st, the weekend will wrap up with the second stop of the season at the Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids, MN for a $3,000 payday. WISSOTA Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks, Mod Fours and Hornets will also be in action. Race time is 6pm. Tyler Peterson won the series first stop at GMCP earlier this season.
Cole Searing leads the series points standings heading into the weekend, a mere thirteen markers ahead of Tyler Peterson, Ryan Mikkelson, Jeff Provinzino and Shane Sabraski, who rounds out the top five.
