Bemidji Speedway to Host 2nd Annual WISSOTA MPH NAPA Central Invitational

WISSOTA’s newest post season special event, the WISSOTA MPH NAPA Central Invitational, is set to crown three champions during the second running of the WISSOTA MPH NAPA Invitational, which will be held on Sunday, September 8th at the Bemidji Speedway in Bemidji, MN.

Last year, Tommy Pogones (Mod Fours), Dustin Puffe (Pure Stocks) and Jenna Hagemann (Hornets) were crowned champions of the MPH after a hard-fought night of racing at Minnesota’s Bemidji Speedway, which is set to be the host site for the 2nd annual event in early September of 2024.

The event once again will be for WISSOTA-sanctioned Mod Fours, Pure Stocks and Hornets and will take place of the three divisions’ attendance at the annual Speedway Motors WISSOTA 100.

An open practice night will be held on Saturday, September 7th and all three classes will go to battle on Sunday evening with big money and braggin’ rights on the line for the top finishers.

Pits will open at 10am, draw will begin at noon, grandstands will open at 2pm, drivers meeting will be at 3, hot laps will be at 4 and racing will begin at 5.
Just like in 2023, the Mod Fours will time trial to start the night and all three classes will use passing points to determine the feature lineups.

Each winner will be crowned as the WISSOTA MPH NAPA Invitational Champion and will also have their car on display on championship Saturday night of the WISSOTA 100, on September 14th at the I-94 emr Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN.

Many great sponsors have come on board for this event to offer a great one-day payout for each class, plus Long Tow and Hard Charger Awards, a Fast Time Award for the Mod Fours, plus an additional $5,000 in contingency prizes that will be dolled out to the drivers throughout the course of the event.
