Tech Changes for 2025 Season

On November 8th & 9th, 2024 The Wissota Board of Director, Tech Committee and Promoters had our annual meeting. The rule changes for 2025 for WISSOTA classes are as follows. If you have any question's please contract your tech rep or Bill Engelstad. All tech reps information can be found on the page 1 of your 2024 rule book or on WISSOTA website under the contact tab.

MULTI CLASSES

• LM, MODS, Super Stock, MWM, MOD 4 - No left side composite/plastic door panel
• Super Stock, MWM, Street Stock - Manley / Wissota H beam rods allowed. P/N 14037W-8 (the 8 means number of rods)

• Super Stock, MWM, Street Stock , MOD 4 - Must use OEM type cast iron brake calipers, non- lightened.

LATE MODELS

• CT525 Cars racing at tracks with an elevation of 2000 feet or higher will follow the timing curve in the Wissota rule book with the timing, Advance limited to 28 degrees at these tracks only. Cars racing at tracks with a lower elevation will still be limited to the same timing Curve with total advance of 26 degrees. Max RPM for all elevations 7200.

• Roof diffusers / diverters are allowed on back of roof, Max height 3/8”

• Skew rule - the measurement of the left rear quarter panel from the center of the hub to the rear of quarter panel can not exceed (54”) Measuring (72”) from the left rear quarter panel to the right rear quarter panel (96”) forward along right-side door, diagonal to from that point to the top of left quarter panel must be minimum of (117”).

• Bracing / structure underneath nose filler panel must maintain flat shape on the track at speed.

• Max. width at bottom of doors (90”)

• The front fender must be min. (36”) and max (38”)in height measured vertically from ground to the top of the fender behind front tires (with driver in car).

• The right-side bottom of the quarter panel must not extend outward further than (6”) beyond the right-side spoiler brace vertically.

MODIFIEDS
• Dry sump systems are not allowed. “Wet sump” oil system only. Internal or external oil pumps are permitted: however, single pick up must remain in the pan with a maximum One (1) pickup and one (1) return line. External remote oil tanks (dry sump tanks) are not allowed. Oil coolers and remote filters are permitted.

• Cast iron brake calipers only.

• Test up to 8 fab stubs from Howe

SUPER STOCKS
• Nose can be a maximum of (3”) difference from side to side from ground to the bottom of nose. (with driver in car)

• The bodyline – Top of side of car must be smooth even line from center of front wheel to back of car. On right side of car (1”) tolerance up and down, side to side.

• Test GM 604 seal crates (Holley 4412 2bbl, (1”) carb spacer, maximum RPM 6400? MSD soft touch P/N 8727CT vbelt front pulley system) (maybe more restrictions needed)

MIDWEST MODIFIEDS

• Ford valve spring max. O.D. 1.437 + .015

• Test up to 8 fab stubs from Howe

STREET STOCKS
• We are working with Speedway Motors Metric Hobby Stock Frame – we will have a final decision later

• No Camaro and ford mustang nose cones. No multi piece fenders and quarter panels must have body lines, NEED HELP IN WORDING

MOD 4
• Duratac engines must use Wissota spacer/restrictor Speedway Motors P/N 135-1955 Wissota will review during race season.

PURE STOCKS
• All cars must run spec shocks KYB Front P/N 343127 Excel-G gas shock. Rear P/N 343157 Excel-G gas shock.

• Test GM 602 sealed crates (Holley 4412 2 bbl,1” carb spacer maximum RPM 6000, MSD soft touch P/N 8727C.T. V belt front Pulley system (maybe more restrictions)

• May use Speedway 3-piece metric spindle P/N 91034501

• May use stock type 227 to 1 rear end gears,

• May use tin oil deflector on rocker arms.

• You can remove the vacuum advance.

Hornet

• No Changes
