XL1 Race Supply to give away Duratec Engines at MPH Invitational

WISSOTA is excited to announce that XL1 Race Supply, a leader in Mod Four performance, will be giving away two race-prepped Duratec engines during the Speedway Motors MPH Invitational, happening September 5–6, 2025, at Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.

The giveaway is open exclusively to Mod 4 class participants attending the MPH Invitational. Each engine, valued at $995, will be awarded to two randomly selected Mod 4 drivers during the driver’s meeting on Saturday, September 6.

“XL1 Race Supply has been a consistent supporter of the Mod Four division, and this giveaway is a testament to their commitment to grassroots racing,” said Nikki Cook, WISSOTA Executive Director. Cook added, “Thanks to their generosity, two drivers will leave with race-ready Duratec engines that can make the difference in growing the class.”

XL1 Race Supply owner and Mod Four racer Chad Funt is proud to do what he can to help grow the class and the event car count. “It’s no secret that I am a strong advocate for the WISSOTA Mod Four class. I want to see our class grow, and if I can help be a part of that growth, I am all in.”

All Mod 4 competitors registered for the MPH Invitational will be automatically entered into the drawing. The XL1 base engine package consists of a prepped 2.5 Duratec with necessary ports blocked, balance shaft assembly removed, and blocked, crank pulley installed and timing set.

The MPH Invitational, presented by Speedway Motors, promises a weekend of exciting competition and community, and the XL1 engine giveaway adds even more incentive for Mod 4 drivers to be part of the action.
