WISSOTA Seeks New Head Technical Advisor

After the untimely passing of longtime tech director Bill Engelstad, the WISSOTA Promoter's Association is actively looking to fill the role of Head Technical Advisor going into the 2026 racing season and beyond.

WISSOTA, headquartered in St. Cloud, Minnesota, is the sanctioning body of nearly 50 tracks across seven states and Canada, featuring eight competition divisions and nearly 3,000 competitors across a region spanning from Idaho to Wisconsin and everywhere in between.

The WISSOTA Promoters Association exists to benefit its Member Tracks to enhance safe, profitable and successful dirt track racing, through unified, cost-effective rules, policies and procedures, enacted within a democratic environment.

We ask anyone interested in this position to please email their current resume, with references and a cover letter explaining why you are interested in working with WISSOTA, to the WISSOTA General Manager, Nikki Cook, before November 1st, 2025, at nikki@wissota.org. Please reach out to Nikki directly with any additional questions.

Thank you.
