Keith Thell survives late restarts for MPH Invitational Mod Four victory
A stacked WISSOTA Mod Four field and a lengthy caution-filled feature proved no match for Keith Thell on Saturday Night at Granite City Motor Park.
In only his fifth feature start of the year, Thell rolled off third when the Collins Brothers Towing of St Cloud Green Flag flew. Thell worked his way to the lead on lap five and looked to be well on his way to keeping his record perfect at Granite City on the year. Numerous cautions and restarts would test the St. Augusta, Minnesota racer who held off a charging Tyler Larson and led 25 laps en route to claiming the MPH Invitational Mod Four title.
